70TH IIRB CONGRESS 2007
11-13/04/2007, Hôtel Le Méridien N’Fis, Marrakech (MA)
The 70th Congress of the IIRB this time took place in Marrakech, Morocco. It was organised jointly by the IIRB and our Moroccan colleagues. Marrakech, situated in the heart of Morocco, with its historical centre rich in a glorious history, represented a fascinating venue for this congress.
The congress was devoted to the following four sessions:
- Heavy, sweet and clean beets
- Reassessing cost effective crop protection
- Open session
- Poster session
Field visits were being organised for the 13th April as well as various cultural programmes for accompanying persons who also participated in the field visits.
We thank APS (Association professionelle sucrière) in Morocco for the successful practical organization of the congress.
