Abstracts
-
The abstracts will be included in a brochure handed out at the Congress; they will also be published online on the IIRB Internet site. Abstracts should summarise the main points of the paper.
-
Authors are requested to hand in their abstracts in the 3 IIRB languages (English, French, German). Abstracts should not exceed 20 lines per language. Please use the enclosed template "Template Abstracts 73rd IIRB Congress.doc". Please include your name in the file name.
-
The deadline for the online-submission of abstracts is the 10th January 2012.
Draft of Text
-
Interpreters will simultaneously translate your presentation into the three IIRB languages at the Congress. Due to the specificity of the subject and technical terminology used, a draft text is requested by 10th January 2012 that will allow the interpreters to prepare their translations.
-
This text should describe the topic of your presentation and contain the technical key words of your speech. It does not necessarily need to correspond to the final version of your presentation.
Final Text - Proceedings
-
The final text is intended for publication on the IIRB Internet site and will be accessible
for free to IIRB members and against payment to non-members. The publication can be cited as “Author, Title, Proceedings of the 73rd IIRB Congress, 14-15 February 2012, Brussels, B”.
-
We kindly ask you to insert your text in the enclosed template "Template Proceedings 73rd IIRB Congress.doc" which is formatted in the layout of the final publication. Please include your name in the file name.
-
All tables and figures should be labelled clearly and concisely.
-
Tables, figures and illustrations may be in colour. They should be inserted in the text at their final position.
-
Please observe a thickness of the lines for tables and figures of at least 1 point.
-
The bibliography should follow the text. References in the text are mentioned in brackets as follows:
-
1 author e.g.: (Van Steyvoort, 2005)
-
2 authors e.g.: (Devonshire & Needham, 2008)
-
3 authors and more e.g.: (Von Büchi et al., 2007)
-
The deadline for online-submission of final texts to the IIRB is the 14th February 2012.
