STUDY GROUPS

The IIRB currently has eight study groups and two project groups.

Study groups are permanent groups of members that regularly meet approximately once a year to exchange and discuss new information in their sector. The main topics cover all aspects of sugar beet cultivation, from breeding of sugar beet over different topics of cultivation to aspects of beet storage after harvest and co-product uses. Additionally, the Communication techniques group discusses ways of knowledge transfer.

Project groups are time-limited groups and deal with very topical issues. Contrary to study groups, project group members are not required to be member of the IIRB.

The following pages give general information on the different study groups and project groups. A large amount of information though is only visible after login as a group member.
